in Housing & Homelessness
After 10 years of working in various avenues of housing and homelessness I decided it was time to embark into the unknown and become an independent contractor.
I started my housing journey in 2009 performing administrative tasks to support homeless officers, and I would often proof read homeless officers decisions letters before sending them out.
It was during this time that my interest in housing law intensified as I realised that homelessness is covered by comlex legislation and it requires great skill to make a lawful homelessness decsion. I then progressed to giving housing and homelessness advice under a legal services contract, during which time I successfully challenged many homeless decisions for my clients.
After this, I worked for an ombudsman service which enabled me to develop my knowledge in regards to service provision and complaint handling. I then moved into working for local authorities making s184 homeless decisions, and eventually to handling housing allocations and homelessness reviews as well as investigating corporate complaints.
I am based in Birmingham and work remotely from my home office or on site depending on my clients needs. I am stickler for accuracy and I take a great deal of pride in my work because I believe quality work is appreciated and remembered.
Through this website, I hope to build an expansive customer base and foster lasting cooperation and satisfaction with clients, no matter the size of any project entailed.
